Exceptional Fruit Glycolic Peel is a concentrated blend of five botanical extracts: Bilberry, sugar cane, sugar maple, Orange, and Lemon. These extracts contain seVeral naturally occurring alpha hydroxy Acids (AHAs). AHAs have been shown to promote smoother, younger looking skin by increasing the rate of cell renewal. They have been used in skin care for many years. At first, they were used mainly by dermatologists as skin Peeling and moisturizing agents. Cosmetic companies have since “discovered” AHAs and their almost miraculous activity and utilize them regularly in their skin care lines. Exceptional Fruit Glycolic Peel is produced by taking seVeral species of plants and running them through an exhaustive extraction process, which naturally concentrates the active principles. It is glycolic Acid that is responsible for the immediate skin softening effect felt by consumers when they first use an AHA product. Citric Acid, when topically applied, stimulates collagen synthesis. Both tartaric and malic Acid boost skins elasticity. Combining all of these AHAs results in a truly multifunctional Peel.

Exceptional Fruit Glycolic Peel contains the following concentrations of alpha hydroxy Acids:
Lactic Acid (Organic Corn Extracted) 14% Glycolic Acid (Organic Sugar Cane) 11%
Citric Acid 3% Malic Acid 1% max
Tartaric Acid 1% max
As with all professional strength Peels, a patch test to determine sensitivity should be performed. Before applying, explain to client that they may feel a tingling sensation during treatment. Pour 1/2 teaspoon of Exceptional Fruit Glycolic Peel into glass bowl. Use two long handled cotton swabs and dip into bowl. Roll swabs against side of dish to remove excess product and prevent dripping. Start timing at beginning of application. Apply solution in a counterclockwise manner. Start with forehead; continue applying around perimeter of face, then apply around mouth and on nose. Finish with upper cheek areas. Avoid immediate eye area or obvious active acne lesions. You may apply on neck if client is using the home care product on neck also. In that case, finish with neck last. If excessive stinging or irritation occurs, remove immediately. Allow solution to remain on skin for 2-3 minutes. Apply After Wash to treated areas using cotton pad, starting with forehead and continuing with the same pattern as the application. Rinse with cool water on sponges to remove any traces of exfoliant. Follow with appropriate mask & protective treatment for skin type.
